14 day weather forecast for Europe (2026)

14cast.com gives you a clear 14 day weather forecast for 666 cities across 36 European countries. For each place you see the temperature, chance of rain, wind and hours of sunshine for today, tomorrow and the next two weeks — from Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris to Barcelona, Rome, Lisbon, Athens and the islands people actually travel to.

All weather data is retrieved in real time from Open-Meteo and refreshed through the day. Whether you are planning a weekend away, organising an event or choosing where the sun will be next week, 14cast.com always shows a current picture.

How reliable is a 14 day forecast?

The first three to five days of a forecast are, as a rule, very accurate. After that the certainty gradually decreases and it becomes a trend rather than an exact daily prediction. Our data comes from Open-Meteo, which combines national weather models — among them the Met Office, the German DWD, Météo-France and ECMWF — and recomputes them several times a day using current measurements from stations worldwide.

What do you get per city?

Open a city and you immediately see the current temperature, the feels-like temperature, wind and humidity. Then comes the 14 day outlook: minimum and maximum temperature, rainfall in millimetres and the chance of rain, expected hours of sunshine, the UV index and wind direction. Click a day for hourly detail split across night, morning, afternoon and evening.

The European weather map

Want the whole continent at a glance? The European weather map shows the current temperature per city on one map, plus a table with the expected maximum temperature for the next 14 days. It is the quickest way to compare where in Europe it turns warm and sunny — and to follow a heatwave or a cold spell as it moves across the continent. Every country also has its own map, from Spain and Italy to Norway.

Weather today and tomorrow across Europe

Need the weather today? That page lists the live temperature, feels-like temperature, wind and chance of rain per city, grouped by country. For tomorrow's weather you see the expected maximum and minimum temperature and the chance of rain. Click any city for the hourly picture and the full 14 day outlook.

Holiday weather in Europe

Most people do not choose between countries but between places. That is why the coastal and island destinations have their own pages alongside the capitals: the Costa del Sol and the Costa Blanca, the Algarve, the Balearics and the Canaries, the Italian and Croatian coasts, the Greek islands, the Turkish Riviera, and the Alpine towns of Austria, Switzerland and France. Compare the 14 day outlook side by side before you book.

Long range weather in Europe

14cast specialises in the long range: every city page shows the complete 14 day forecast, two weeks ahead. The first five days are highly reliable; days six to fourteen give a good indication of the trend. That is exactly what you need for planning a holiday, an event or a day out — and for spotting a change of weather type early.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about the 14 day forecast

How reliable is a 14 day weather forecast?

The first three to five days are generally very accurate. After that the certainty gradually drops and it is better read as a trend than as an exact daily prediction. 14cast uses Open-Meteo, which recomputes national weather models — among them the Met Office, DWD, Météo-France and ECMWF — several times a day using measurements from stations worldwide.

Which places can I look up on 14cast.com?

14cast covers hundreds of cities across Europe, from the capitals to the coastal and island destinations people actually travel to: Spain and Portugal, France and Italy, Greece and Croatia, the Alps, the Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe, and the British Isles. Use the search box or open a country to see its full list.

Where can I see a European weather map?

The weather map at 14cast.com/weather-map shows the current temperature per city on one map of Europe, plus a table with the expected maximum temperature for the next 14 days. Every country also has its own zoomed-in map. It is the fastest way to compare where in Europe it is warmest and driest.

How often is the forecast updated?

The weather data on 14cast is refreshed automatically several times a day. We pull live data from Open-Meteo, which recomputes its models every few hours, so in 2026 you always see the most recent run.

What do I get for each day?

For every day you see the minimum and maximum temperature, rainfall in millimetres and the chance of rain, the expected hours of sunshine, wind direction, humidity and the UV index. Click a day for the detail split across night, morning, afternoon and evening.

Is 14cast free to use?

Yes. 14cast is free, needs no account and shows no adverts inside the charts. The forecasts come from Open-Meteo, an open weather API built on national weather model data.

Where does the weather data come from?

All forecasts are retrieved from Open-Meteo, which combines national weather models including those of the Met Office, the German DWD, Météo-France and ECMWF. That is the same class of model data professional forecasters work with.

Can I see the weather hour by hour?

Yes. Every location page has an hourly chart for the next 48 hours with temperature, feels-like temperature and the chance of rain, plus a detail panel per day with night, morning, afternoon and evening.
